Thousands of Night Vision Goggle (NVG) lenses become scratched during combat operations, causing loss of equipment and expensive repairs. The sacrificial lens on the Tarsier Eclipse is made from high strength Corning Glass and will prevent unnecessary repairs and losses in equipment. No tools are required for replacement of the sacrificial lens. Simply pop out the old lens with your fingers and insert the new one.
